URMIDWAR FOUNDATION
URMIDWAR FOUNDATION was formed in the year of 1996 in Bharatpur, district of Rajasthan & Registered under Rajasthan society Act. 1958. to provide self-employment through SHG and skill development training in different livelihood activities, mainly agriculture & Water Conservation, dairy development, food processing, Garments making & Embroidery and better health and education facilities to rural poor families and backward classes of the society. In the beginning the main objective of our organization was to provide skill development of women for their Empowerment through activities like DWACRA , & Trysem scheme etc.
Thousands of womens & farmers families have benefitted by Urmidwar with the help of Funding Agency as NABARD, RMK, NMDFC, Rajasthan Govt. Department- Rural Development, Health, Agriculture, A.H & Dairy, Water & Sanitation, D.I.C., ICDS and DRDA, etc. The Literacy activities, vaccination camps and sanitation program are in progress through Women SHGs in monthly meetings.
Urmidwar is directly in touch with 10,000+ women through 935 SHG’s,of different schemes which require to improve Skill development, agriculture & Water Conservation, dairy development, Banking, livelihood, health & academic level. Our Project offices are established, for the benefit of the poor, down-trodden persons leading their life below poverty line and to bring them in the main stream of the society.
